Christopher Miles is a wealthy, powerful playboy who has grown weary of his shallow lifestyle and the people who only want him for his money. Seeking a "do-over," he decides to go undercover as a broke backpacker named "Kit" while traveling through Europe. His plan for a quiet escape is upended when he meets Hayden Whitmore in a crowded hostel. Hayden is unimpressed by his charm and sees right through his bravado, forcing Christopher to confront who he really is without his billions. As they travel together, a deep connection forms, but Christopher must eventually decide if he can maintain the lie or if revealing his true identity will destroy the only authentic relationship he has ever found.
