Yousef Jaha has emerged as a prominent contemporary artist who contributed significantly to the Saudi art scene, leaving an indelible mark on the local art community. This exhibition catalog is a unique exploration of the artist’s dual fascination with his natural surroundings and the architectural tapestry that defines his environment. Yearning for Rain acts as a bridge between Jaha’s figurative work of urbanism and the layers of expressionist and lyrical abstraction.
