Description
Escape into a heartwarming and emotionally resonant young adult contemporary romance from a record-breaking global sensation. Olivia Lupo feels completely left behind, watching her friends head off to their first year of university while she opts for a gap year to remain close to her beloved grandmother, Annie, who is navigating the difficult progression of dementia.
When her stepmother organizes a three-week family vacation to Martha’s Vineyard, Olivia initially pushes back until she uncovers an old, hidden keepsake box packed with her grandmother’s historic island photographs. Deciding to use the pictures as a nostalgic road map to connect with Annie’s past, Olivia journeys to the magical coastal landscape and unexpectedly reconnects with Connor, a charming face from her own history who is working as a nanny for her cousins. As Connor volunteers to help her retrace every single photographic location, Olivia navigates complex blended-family tensions, balances the heavy weight of grief, and learns to embrace the transformative power of new beginnings and unexpected summer love.
