Pierce Brown

American science fiction author of the dystopian Red Rising space opera saga

Color-coded castes, brutal interplanetary warfare and mythic revolutionary fury fuel the blistering space opera saga of Pierce Brown. Born in Denver in 1988, Brown worked as a political page and social media manager before his breakout novel Red Rising launched an international science fiction phenomenon. Following Darrow of Lykos, a lowborn miner who infiltrates the ruling Gold aristocracy to shatter society from within, the saga continues across Golden Son, Morning Star, Iron Gold, Dark Age and Light Bringer. Brown blends Roman historical grandeur with adrenaline-fueled dystopian rebellion. Readers drawn to fast-paced, high-stakes science fiction should embark on the journey with Red Rising.
