David Walliams

British children's author and comedian

David Walliams brings the exaggeration and comic timing of a performer to his children's fiction. His stories often begin with an unlikely character or an outrageous situation, then follow the complications it creates. Born in 1971, he became known through television before publishing books for children. Gangsta Granny, Mr Stink and Billionaire Boy introduce different sides of his storytelling, while The World's Worst Children collects shorter comic tales.
