الوصف
Twelve-year-old Jonas lives in a community where the elders choose each person's role and difficult memories are kept from everyday life. When he is chosen as the Receiver of Memory, his training reveals experiences and emotions the community has given up. Lois Lowry's novel follows his response to the cost of that apparent peace.
