Following the death of her best friend, Lou, Lenny struggles to move on, avoiding her life and a promise to "live again". While babysitting young Ainsley, she crosses paths with Ainsley’s uncle, Miles, a man familiar with grief who sees through her facade. Miles proposes a deal: he will help her complete her "live again" list if she helps him reconnect with his family, leading the pair to find unexpected love and healing together.
