Description
In this classic bedtime tale, the story begins with a peaceful routine: a bedtime story followed by a kiss from Mother Bear. Father Bear then swings Little Bear onto his shoulders for a ride to the bedroom.
However, when they arrive, Father Bear “discovers” that Little Bear has disappeared! A playful game of hide-and-seek ensues as Father Bear humorously searches high and low for his cub.He checks everywhere—under the kitchen stove, in the woodbox, and even out in the garden—while the young reader can clearly see Little Bear is hiding in plain sight on Father Bear’s own shoulders. Little Bear even giggles as his father “misses” him repeatedly. The silliness finally comes to an end when Father Bear passes a mirror and catches their reflection, leading to a cozy and “tasty” conclusion to the night.
